Born in Padova
Giulio’s passion for photography started at an early age when he took an old camera from his dad’s collection to take black and white pictures of his friends. Working from the basement of his house, Giulio immediately realized that he had found his true calling.
While attending the University Ca' Foscari in Venice, studying Economy, Giulio opened his own first studio in collaboration with a renowned photographer who taught him all the technical aspects of this art. Since his very beginning, Giulio has collaborated with well-established agencies and has worked with a variegated number of brands in the fashion and beauty industries.
In 2010, Giulio becomes part of the creative team at Fabrica, Benetton’s research and communication center, and immediately began working on a vast number of projects for United Colors of Benetton. In 2011 he collaborated with the Group in the development of his avant-guard studios in Castrette. Giulio’s talent and creativity were immediately noticed and his fresh and innovative eye made him the perfect choice to be the photographer of the brand’s product advertising campaigns. His first work was for the Spring-Summer 2012 collection, where the vast selection of colors of the products and the traditional white background took a new and modern light.
